Mission Well Project Teenagers' Poll on Ten Top Financial News in the Year of Dragon

The Junior Financial Secretaries (JFS) appointed by the Mission Well project announced the results of a poll on the Top Ten Financial News in the Year of Dragon:

The survey was conducted by JFS selected under the Mission Well, a community project jointly organized by the HKFI and the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA).  A total of 2,186 respondents picked their top ten financial news of the lunar year.  For more details in Chinese, please refer to the survey report and analysis (http://www.hkfi.org.hk/pdf/toptennewselection.pdf).

In 2012, 23 teenagers aged between 13 and 15 were selected through the Mission Well Community Project and became JFS. They received intensive and multi-faceted training to enhance their financial literacy and cultivate proper attitudes towards life. They have taken up the important role of promoting positive financial and life planning concepts among their peers and to the public via various channels.

The HKFI first launched the Mission Well Community Project in 2005 in conjunction with the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association to encourage prudent life planning and financial management among teenagers. Each year, more than 10,000 students, teenagers, youths and parents participated in this meaningful project.
