The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI) welcomes the measures announced by the Financial Secretary in his Budget Speech today (26 February 2025).

We noted that some of the policy initiatives are aligned with our advocacy on attracting and retaining enterprises, enhancing the long-term competitiveness of the maritime and port industry, encouraging green finance development, and integrating into Greater Bay Area development.

Looking ahead, the HKFI will continue being the voice of the industry and collaborating with the Government to bring various initiatives to fruition, further enhancing Hong Kong's position as the international financial and maritime centre, as well as risk management hub.
